Gudrun Zapf von Hesse

German bookbinder, calligrapher, and type designer known for elegant typefaces including Diotima (1951). Wife of Hermann Zapf, she designed typefaces for Stempel, Berthold, Bitstream, and URW, and was the 1991 winner of the Frederic W. Goudy Award.
