Franck Jalleau
Type designer, calligrapher, and stonecutter who served as the sole type designer for the French Imprimerie Nationale, overseeing the adaptation of its typographic holdings for digital typesetting. A former student of the Scriptorium de Toulouse and ANCT, he co-founded the typeface design program at the École Estienne in the 1990s and taught there for over 30 years, influencing generations of French type designers.
