Francisco Gálvez Pizarro

Chilean graphic designer and self-taught type designer. Teaches at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and authored the book 'Hacer y componer, una introduccion a la tipografia'. His typeface Australis won the Gold Medal at Morisawa (Tokyo, 2002), and he created bespoke fonts for Chile's public transport and motorway signs.
