Joan Michaël Fleischman

18th-century German-Dutch typographer and punchcutter, born in Nuremberg. He worked in the Baroque period and his transitional roman typefaces were widely influential. His work for Joh. Enschedé in Haarlem, particularly his small text types and innovative music font, established him as one of the great punchcutters of his era.
