Douglas F. Jones

American lettering artist and type designer who created typefaces for Visual Graphics Corporation in the 1970s, including Skin & Bones (1972), Mesquite, and Enigma. Graduated with a BFA from California College of Arts and Crafts (CCAC) in 1962. Skin & Bones was notably used by Austin City Limits since 1974 and was later digitized by Mark Simonson Studio.
