Adrian Frutiger

Swiss typeface designer (1928-2015) who profoundly shaped typography across the hot metal, phototypesetting, and digital eras. Created landmark sans-serif families including Univers, Frutiger, and Avenir, and is considered one of the most influential typographers of the 20th century.
